The Cornwall Sustainability Awards 2019/20

After 16 years of continuous operation, the Cornwall Sustainability Awards (CSA) is taking a short break during 2019 to refocus, evolve and improve.

Having consistently grown year on year, the CSA has become the county’s leading initiative for rewarding and celebrating enterprises for their contribution to environmental growth and resource efficiency.

The numbers are striking. In 2019 alone over 115 applications were received across the 16 award categories, with over 250 business representatives attending the ceremony event in December. Likewise, levels of sponsorship and support from likeminded partners have grown to record levels in recent years.

It is these unprecedented levels of success, coupled with the rapidly changing sustainability landscape, that inspire us to rethink the CSA for the future. We will therefore take the forthcoming year to make positive step changes to processes, content and delivery of the CSA to reflect Cornwall’s key impact areas around sustainability, as well as our planet’s most pressing environmental challenges.

We are immensely proud of our impact and we remain grateful for the support we receive from our partners. Rest assured that we will be working closely with this broad network of stakeholders over the coming year, as well as consulting with the wonderful enterprises we have been fortunate to cross paths with over the years.

To that end, we would be grateful if you would write to us with suggestions for improving the CSA. Let us know how your enterprise wants to be rewarded and recognised for your role in delivering a brighter environmental future for Cornwall, by contacting [email protected].

Updates on how the CSA is evolving and opportunities to participate in this process will be shared through the CSA website and social media channels: www.cornwallsustainbilityawards.org, Twitter and Facebook.
